Just some of the lovely things my clients have said

Career Coaching
Jo was very patient with me as I often added in new goals at different sessions. She was able to open my eyes to various techniques and models that helped me identify hidden, or unrealised strengths and helped me articulate my values. I found the early the sessions very informative and Jo was really good at helping me wade through the results to highlight what was meaningful and most relevant to my goals.
Jo had the right balance of coaching, listening and was also able to give personal experiences and ideas. She often helped bring me back to my intentions and what I was trying to achieve. I found Jo very easy to communicate with and found her very genuine. In terms of benefits I set out with a goal to find a job that aligned to my values and half way through the coaching I started a consultancy contract which I would say aligns to 4 out of the 5 of my values. From a personal perspective I was able to recognise I wasn’t fully fulfilled and had forgotten the role of the parent was also to have fun with the kids and Jo helped me with ideas on how I could incorporate more of that into my life as well. By voicing my goals, sometimes just speaking to Jo helped me realise what I wanted them to be and made them self-fulfilling. |
Confidence Boosting
I have found my coaching with Jo to be highly useful and insightful.
I left each session with interesting points to take away, digest and then address. She gave pragmatic advice to put into practice, which was invaluable. Some of the exercises to be completed in between sessions, such the Career Lifeline in particular, were thought-provoking, the results of which were very interesting. These highlighted some key facts, which when going about your everyday life, you sometimes can fail to recognise and acknowledge. Jo is an exceptional listener - non-judgemental, empathetic and responsive. This is an innate skill, which Jo has in abundance. She would ask perceptive and relevant questions which would often allow me to come to sensible conclusions myself. I am a strong advocate of coaching in general but these past few months with Jo have served to reinforce and emphasise this belief. I have learnt a lot, all of which I will be able to reflect on and consider for the rest of my career. Working on the various topics we discussed will be an ongoing project, and if I manage to master well, will certainly help my own professional and personal growth. |
